We have a day for giving thanks. We have two days for getting deals (Black Friday and Cyber Monday). Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, November 29, 2016, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for the common purpose of giving and celebrating generosity.

WEST is a wonderful organization that is promoting women’s careers in science and technology and preparing tomorrow’s leaders. Women join the workplace in equal numbers to men, but there is a rapid drop off for women as they progress in their careers (Lean in and McKinsey 2016 study).
