Eleanor recommends ”The Genomics Life" by Kelly Moffat. This podcast shares behind the scenes stories of the people, their innovations, and exciting work in the field of genomics.
Elissa recommends "The Long Run” with Luke Timmerman. Excellent series of interviews with biotech leaders. I always learn something from each episode. Love the questions Luke asks - especially those that pertain to the guest's upbringing.
Etta recommends "The #InVinoFab Podcast". This brilliant podcast is co-hosted by our own Patrice Torcivia Prusko. The #InVinoFab Podcast uncorks to share stories about women+, wine, and work through personal stories. Co-hosts @ProfPatrice & @LauraPasquini bring different voices and ideas to the pod to challenge, learn, and engage listeners for issues and ideas impacting women in their communities and at work.
Diane recommends "Bill Gates and Rashida Jones Ask Big Questions". Bill Gates and Rashida Jones Ask Big Questions. Every now and then, exposure to different perspectives of the larger picture jolts us out of our own little world. And The origins podcast with Lawrence Krauss
has established itself with fascinating episodes since June 2019, including Noam Chomsky, Ricky Gervis, George Church, Jennifer Boylan and Elizabeth Loftus…the in-depth conversations span from fundamental questions about the Universe and humanity to issues at the intersection of popular culture and science. It inspires wonder and excitement about the world around us by celebrating knowledge, skeptical inquiry and creativity.
Julia recommends "Tech Tonics". This podcast comes out twice monthly and is focused on the people and passion at the intersection of technology and health. Hosted by Lisa Suennen and David Shaywitz (the co-authors of “Tech Tonics: Can Passionate Entrepreneurs Heal Healthcare With Technology?”) the show draws on their experience in business, medicine, and health-IT. The show has had some amazing speakers from pharma/biotech CEOs, investors, scientists, physicians, etc. I have really enjoyed due to the speakers' advice and learning about their career paths-what motivates them, what has driven them, why they made the choices they did, mistakes they have made... I love their honesty. It also is very relevant; David makes sure to features speakers who are at the cutting edge of tech/healthcare and they share their opinions on the latest and greatest tools/technologies etc.
