He has a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts and currently holds the GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst credential. After building a working replica of an amusement park with Lego's at a very young age, Tim realized he enjoyed building and taking things apart. He began banging on computer keyboards in the early 1980’s with a TI99-4A and continued to tinker during the 1990’s. In 1999, he made the official jump into Information Technology. He has held positions in Systems Administration, Network Architecture & Engineering, and Information Security within the Biotechnology industry over the last 19 years. Cursed/Blessed with a lot if spare time in the form of a long train commute, Tim still enjoys tinkering with computers, breaking stuff, and thinking about new novel ways to improve security for his colleagues. At home, he still enjoys building Lego’s with his kids.
