"Wonder Woman is psychological propaganda for the new type of woman who should, I believe, rule the world” – William Moulton Marston, creator of Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman did not appear out of nowhere. Accordingly to the legend, she was created and mentored by her mother and was supported by a tribe of strong Amazon role models. Wonder Woman's Amazonian training helped her to develop a wide range of extraordinary skills and tools to help her in her quests for justice. Similarly, engaging with the Amazons of STEM leadership will help us develop the skills and tools required to succeed in our quests for obtaining leadership positions in the STEM arena.
Please join us on June 28 for an evening to honor four real-life Wonder Women of STEM!
Our superheroes will describe the secrets to their own success, and teach us more about the key leadership attributes that they are seeing exemplified in outstanding women from the next generation, in the grand tradition of the Amazon mothers and aunts. There were also be ample time to network with our superheroes, their mentees and others of the tribe of WEST.
The Wonder Women are:
Karen Anderson, SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals
Rosana Kapeller, CSO at Nimbus Therapeutics
Sabine Schilg, VP Customer Success & Renewals at Carbonite, Inc
Kazumi Shiosaki, Managing Director at MPM Capital
We are looking forward to learning from the Spirits of Truth!
